What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When an account is created, an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ (opens in a new window). After approval of your account, your profile picture is visible to the site administrators if they review your account information through the web admin. It is not displayed publicly.
When a purchase is made, information is stored about which product is purchased, when it was purchased and when the subscription expires. This information is presented to the site user as a record of their purchase history and to administrators so they can manage and support user accounts.
This website does not store identifying information such as addresses, phone number or credit card information.
Contact Forms
This site uses contact forms to help users submit questions about the programs and services offered by Sherbourne Martial Arts Academy. We may collect personal data such as: first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers as a means to identify the person submitting the form, and to contact that person with a response. This information is used solely for the purposes of program administration and no identifying information is shared with any other third party for the purposes of marketing.
All of our forms utilize recaptcha. This is a Google anti-spam tool that we use to ensure that only legitimate users are submitting contact forms. Visit Google Recaptcha (opens in a new window) to learn more.
It is good practice to avoid submitting highly sensitive content through website contact forms. Please provide only the information required to describe your feedback, or question, to get a helpful response.
Cookies
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with
Your personal information is used for the purposes of replying to inquiries submitted through one of our webforms, or for subscription administration solely through Sherbourne Martial Arts Academy (SMAA). No personal information is shared or given to any other third-party company.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
